Woke up around 2 today and was headed upstairs when my grandma was talking to my sister (Nikki, who was visiting over the weekend from Lincoln, NE). She said something about she hadn't told me yet because I was sleeping and I got up to the top of the stairs and said "Tell me what?" and she said that Mom went to the hospital in Sioux City (about 60 miles from here, probably went to St. Luke's) because her white cell count was low. Then she went to the meeting (church, Witnesses call them meetings). She just got back and I asked her what her count was and she said .04. Normal is between 7 and 10. Stupid fucking chemo. My aunt took her up there, hopefully I'll know soon but for now I think I'm going to try and go back to bed since I have to work tonight. Unless she hasn't improved then I doubt I will.
EDIT: Just got off the phone with Mom. She has an infection so they are keeping her in the hospital for a couple days, doing x-ray and blood work to find out where it is right now so they can get rid of it. Might go back to sleep a bit longer.
